SEVEN FMS PRODUCTS WIN THIRTEEN
|
At the Microsoft Access/VB/Office conference in San Francisco in February, Advisor Publications announced that seven FMS products won thirteen awards in the 1998 Access/VB/Office Advisor Readers Choice balloting. Microsoft Access is the world’s leading Windows based database program, and Access/VB/Office Advisor is the premier magazine for Microsoft Access developers. The awards will be announced in the April issue of Access/VB/Office Advisor.
Not only did FMS win the most awards of any company (no other company won more than two awards), it won the most important categories. Combined with past awards, FMS has clearly established itself as the leading 3rd party product developer for Microsoft Access.
In the most important "Best Access Add-in" category, FMS swept all three awards. Total Access Analyzer won Gold for the fourth year in a row, and two other products, Total Access SourceBook and Total Access CodeTools tied for Silver. Total Access Analyzer also won two Gold awards for Best Documentation Program and Best Debugging Tool. Total Access SourceBook also won two Gold awards for Best Source Code Library and Best Office Add-In.
Several other products also won major awards. Total Access Components won two Gold awards for Best ActiveX Control and Best Interface Design Tool. Total Access Detective received Silver for the Best Debugging Tool (second year in a row). Total Access Statistics won Gold for the Best Business Product (second year in a row). And finally, Total Access Agent won Silver for Best Visual Basic Add-In, and Team Access won Gold for Best Version Control Tool.
"We are pleased to see FMS’ success, and we congratulate them on their thirteen awards," said Neil Charney, lead product manager for Microsoft Office, Developer Edition, at Microsoft Corporation. "FMS was among the earliest supporters of Microsoft Access and they continue to deliver high quality add-ins to Access developers and end users."
"Thanks! FMS products are extremely powerful, unbelievably stable, great timesavers, easy to learn, and an absolute pleasure to work with!"
